Behavior Technician – Full-time & part-time
Solstice Behavioral Health & Consulting is seeking experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our expert team of professionals at our Shelton, CT location and surrounding towns to provide home-based and center-based services. We also welcome candidates to apply who are new to the field of behavior analysis and working with children with autism.

Our Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) our mentored by experts in the field of Autism including master and doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analysts to provide high- quality treatment. We train, coach, and mentor staff to work with children, families, and community providers in an effort to promote behavioral change and emotional well-being.
We offer an apprenticeship program to Registered Behavior Technicians who are pursuing their Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification receive a robust training experience towards their 1,500 supervision fieldwork hours on-site at Solstice. Supervision is delivered from our experts at the clinic and allows for opportunities to expand their skills within various settings including home, community, and school consultation project sites. We believe in developing a life-long mentor-mentee relationship that expands beyond the walls of Solstice. Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of High School diploma
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, behavior analysis, social work, special education, or related field (preferred)
- Registered Behavior Technician credential (preferred)
- 1 year experience working with children with autism and/or related neurodevelopmental disabilities
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Desire to learn from team members
- Dependable, reliable, and efficient
- CPR & First Aid certification (preferred)
- PMT certification (preferred)
- Available to work Monday through Friday between 25 – 35 hours per week
